Learn about the Parent/Guardian My Sessions page on the StrongMind Dashboard.

Note: The My Sessions page for the Parent/Guardian is their place to keep all of their sessions in order. Users can access this page by clicking on the “View All Sessions” button on the right side of their screen.

Sessions can be for community groups the parent/guardian is a part of as well as interactions with their student(s) teachers.

Note: Until a Parent/Guardian has sessions or events scheduled, they will see an empty state message on the page alerting them that they have no recommended sessions. 

Features

Today Page

The Today page shows Session Cards for each session the user has scheduled for today. Each event will have its own individual Session Card.

Key Details:

• Parents/Guardians can view what they have only for today.

• Parents/Guardians can add session schedules from this page.

• Added sessions will populate on the right side of their screen to join when the time occurs.

Note: The parent/guardian can add the session to their calendar from this page and a session tile will populate on the right side of their screen so they can join easily.

This Week Page

The This Week tab shows the Recommended Sessions occurring for the current week for the parent/guardian. they can select the sessions they would like to attend and click the Add to My Sessions button to add it to their calendar

Key Details:

• Parents/Guardians can view what they have only for this current week.

• Parents/Guardians can add sessions to their calendar for this week from this page.

• A calendar view that shows scheduled sessions visually.

Past Sessions Page

The Past Sessions tab shows sessions that occurred in the past that the student has been invited to as well as attended.

Key Details:

• Filter for the day the session occurred.

• Checkbox to see only sessions I’ve attended if the box is checked.

  • If the box is NOT checked will see all Past Session Parent/Guardian has been invited to.

Note: There is a box the student can check to filter only by sessions they have attended. If the box is not checked, it will show all sessions the student was invited to.

Upcoming Sessions Page

The Upcoming tab shows the Recommended Sessions occurring in the future for the parent/guardian.

Key Details:

• Parents/Guardians can view sessions scheduled for future dates.

• Parents/Guardians can add these sessions to their calendars.

• The session cards will automatically be rendered on their right tray on the scheduled day if they have confirmed attendance for a specific time.

• Can select a day of the week to view all Upcoming Sessions that occur on that day.

Note: Parents/Guardians can add sessions to their calendar with the simple click of a button.
Added sessions will show up in their right tray on the day the session is scheduled for.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I get a session to show in my right tray so I can attend?

   1. In your Recommended Sessions section, you can review all of the sessions you have been invited to. You can select the time you want to attend, click the Add to My Sessions button, and the session card will show on your right tray if the session is scheduled for today. If you add a session for a future date, it will render in your right tray on the scheduled day.
      
      

2. How can I access the My Sessions page?

   1. You will access your My Sessions page by clicking on the View All Sessions button on the right side of your screen.
