✩ SMC Student Dashboard – Sessions

Learn how students can keep track of their new and upcoming sessions in the new StrongMind dashboard.

Note: Students now can confirm their attendance for all sessions. From Sync Sessions with their teachers, to 1: 1 or small group session tutors. Students will no longer be automatically opted into any type of session.

Today Tab:

The Today tab shows the recommended sessions occurring today for the student. They will have the ability to add sessions to their calendar with a simple click of a button. Added sessions will transfer to their right tray.

Sync Sessions: 

• Students click on the desired time, then click the Add to My Sessions button.

Key Details:

• Cards will remain on the student’s Recommended Sessions area for the day, even after they have selected a time to attend.

• Students have the ability to change their desired session time by clicking on a new time on the session card and then clicking Add to My Sessions again.

• This update will change the session card time on the student’s right tray to reflect the updated time selection.

1:1 and Small Group Sessions:

• Students will click on the time and click the Add to My Sessions button.

Key Details:

• Students now have to actively accept tutoring and small group invitations.

• This allows the students to control their own schedule

• They must now click the time and the Add to My Sessions button for the session card to render on their right tray.

• Should a student need to reschedule or cancel their 1:1 or Small Group, they will need to reach out to the tutor directly to do so.

This Week:

The This Week tab shows the Recommended Sessions occurring for the current week for the student.

Note: Student is able to select the sessions they would like to attend and click the Add to My Sessions button to add it to their calendar.

Key Details:

• Students now have to actively accept tutoring and small group invitations.

• This allows the students to control their own schedule

• They must now click the time and the Add to My Sessions button for the session card to render on their right tray.

• Should a student need to reschedule or cancel their 1:1 or Small Group, they will need to reach out to the tutor directly to do so.

Upcoming Tab:

The Upcoming tab shows the Recommended Sessions occurring in the future for the student.

Note: Added sessions will show up in their right tray on the day the session is scheduled for.

Key Details:

• Students will be able to view sessions scheduled for future dates.

• Students will be able to add these sessions to their calendars.

• The session cards will automatically be rendered on their right tray on the scheduled day if they have confirmed attendance for a specific time.

• Can select a day of the week to view all Upcoming Sessions that occur on that day.

Past Sessions Tab

The Past Sessions tab shows sessions that occurred in the past that the student has been invited to as well as attended.

Key Details:

• Students can filter for the day the session occurred.

• Checkbox to see only sessions I’ve attended if the box is checked.

  • If the box is NOT checked will see all Past sessions students have been invited to.
