Learn how to filter your Canvas inbox.
- Select Inbox from the sidebar on the left.
There are two ways you can filter your inbox:
- Select the dropdown arrow next to All Courses. Then, select a course name to filter your inbox for messages from teachers or students in that course.
Click the down arrow next to Inbox.

Select the type of message to filter your inbox.
